| Project: First Edition Comic Book Cover Students write the genisis of a brand new comic book super hero before creating the innaugural issue cover. They also design a logo for Eagle Comics - a brand new publisher looking for a new hero. |
| Project:Product Development & Package Design. Students develop their own product, design a logo, complete all six sides of a package before photographing it with studio strobes for insertion into an advetising layout complete with headline and body copy written to advertising standards. |
Traditional Illustration: Students explore Color Theory, Principles of Design, Typography and apply technical tools to complete advertising style layouts. |
Project: Theme Park Brochure Students work in teams to devise their own theme park, competitively design a logo for the overall park, describe uniques rides using advertising copy and design uniques logos for each ride while collaboratively completing both sides of a six panel folding brochure. |
| Project: Logo Revamp Students recreate existing logos using Typography and technical tools before revamping the design concept. |
